NBA Finals Preview

Overview

-The NBA Finals match up that NBA Fans and David Stern asked for, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be taking on the Miami Heat will battle it out, it what will likely be one of the most watched NBA Finals contests in history. The main storyline for this series will be good vs. evil. Kevin Durant, the young forward out of Texas who is beloved by scouts and fans. Durant isn't just loved for his talents on the court, but for his down to earth personality and that famous backpack everyone loves to see in Press Conferences. On the other side we have Lebron James who had the infamous "Decision" event which would change the course of his career and his legacy forever. It is everything the NBA could ask for, while fans across the globe will cheer their hearts out for this Thunder team hoping they can take down Lebron James. As for Miami, they have proven that they can handle the pressure and they will gladly take on the "villain" role as long as it will get them a ring. I can't wait for this series, so let's get into my Preview.

2011-2012 NBA Eastern Conference Semi-Final Preview

            The NBA Playoffs as we knew them are back.  It took a while to get here, with the recent lockout almost wiping out the entire season. One year after 2011, one of the more fascinating postseasons in NBA History. So many storylines to marvel at just one year ago, with the first season of the Big-Three era, then-budding superstars like Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose making the leap to super stardom, and the Dallas Mavericks shaking off 3 consecutive seasons of disappointing postseason runs to finally win an NBA championship.  It was one of the more entertaining, fun seasons to follow and there’s no better time to be a basketball fan than right now.  And now that half of the teams have been weeded out, there are only three more rounds to go before crowning not only the champ, but the team that will resonate in our minds when we think of this crazy 2012 NBA season.

NBA Season Preview

-The NBA Season is finally here. It all kicks off Christmas Day with a NBA Finals rematch of the Dallas Mavericks vs. the Miami Heat. It is going to be a great season opener and should be just a sample of how great this 66 game season will be. So let's take a look at how I think the NBA Season is going to play out.

Western Conference:

-The Western Conference is probably the strongest of the 2 conferences. The defending champion Mavericks will look to defend their title, while the Lakers, Spurs, and Thunder will all be gunning to knock them down from the No.1 spot. The West got stronger though during the off season, the Los Angeles Clippers traded Eric Gordon and other pieces for All Star PG Chris Paul, they brought back big man DeAndre Jordan, and they will be gunning to be the new "power house" in L.A. The West also has the Denver Nuggets who make up for their lack of star power, with great team play and smart basketball. There should be no question that the West is the tougher of the two conferences, because on any given night you are playing a great basketball team. The younger teams such as the Utah Jazz, Sacramento Kings, and New Orleans Hornets will look to establish a building block this year to help them push for the playoffs next year. The West has depth through out the conference, so it's likely he best record in the NBA will not come from the East, but the NBA Champions will.
