It was Tim Tebows arm not his legs, that put on an impressive display against the Vikings on Sunday |

Defensive Player of the Week:
Mario Haggan LB, Broncos: 12 Tackles (7 Solo) 1 PD, 1 INT Returned for TD
In the Absence of Von Miller, Mario Haggan stepped up big returning an INT for a TD, and recording 12 Tackles |
Top Plays of the Week:
Larod Stephens Howling 52 Yard TD Catch
Robert Meachem 67 Yard TD Catch
David Hawthorne 77 Yard INT Return TD
Top Play of the Week: Larod Stephens-Howling 52 Yard GW TD Catch
-It was a close contest between this play and Seahawks LB David Hawthorne returning an INT 77 yards for a TD on Thursday Night Football. However, it came down to the fact that Stephens-Howlings TD came on the last play of the game, it won the game, and it was because of his great moves. An amazing play by Howling, and although it won't have any effect on the Cardinals playoff chances, it will lift the spirits of the team.
Coaches Hot Seat
Andy Reid, PHI: Ashes
-Let's face it there is not much else Andy Reid can do to save his job in Philadelphia. After a Thursday Night loss to the Seahawks, the Eagles dropped to a miserable 4-8. Granted they have gone 3 weeks without Michael Vick, but that doesn't excuse the poor play on defense or by the WR's. Andy Reid is a great coach but the dream scenario in Philadelphia failed, and a split would be best for both
Norv Turner, SD: Burnt Crisp
-Norv Turner has officially lost this Chargers football team. His inability to motivate, prepare or coach in key game situations plus the poor play of the Chargers defense and QB Phillip Rivers has led to this teams epic disappointment of a season. The Chargers who came into this season as one of the favorites in the AFC, and picked by several people to make it to the Super Bowl, are now last in the worst division in the NFL A.K.A the AFC West. It is no longer of if Norv Turner will be fired, but when will he be fired. G.M A.J Smith could be on his way out as well.
Tony Sporano, MIA: Deep Fried
-Tony SporanoHenne, Matt Moore has proved himself as a decent QB. Despite the impressive play and former Saints outcast Reggie Bush, there is no denying the fact that Sporano will likely be gone after this season. There are to many better options out there for the Dolphins then then Sporano, and because of it Sporano will be looking for a new job in the off season.
Suck for Luck Sweepstakes
-There is no question about it, the Indianapolis Colts are the worst team in the NFL, and will be drafting Andrew Luck 1st Overall. He is a rare QB Prospect who can come in right away and help lift the spirits of the franchise that selects him. His ability to run when he needs to, make the accurate pass, his knowledge of the game, and ability to make bad WR's look good is rare in rookie QB's. The only problem, the Colts will have a healthy Peyton Manning in 2012, so which of the 2 QB's do they trade for a Kings Ransom.
In his past few games Luck has found the opposing DB's 5 times while his status as No.1 pick is still certain, he isn't as glorious as before |
So what will the Colts do with Andrew Luck? Peyton Manning is coming off a neck injury and soon will be reaching his "Old Man" years, and the Colts will need to find a new franchise QB. Andrew Luck gives them an immediate impact QB who can come in and make their franchise relevant again. The Colts have key impending free agents (Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, and Jeff Saturday). Assuming all 3 can be re-signed that would give Luck a veteran Center, and two legitimate WR's to throw to. Luck would arrive in a place filled with tradition, leadership and great coaching. But what about that guy Peyton Manning, you know the 1st Ballot Hall of Famer. Then again the Colts could trade Luck to a young team, and roll with Peyton Manning for a few more years. 2 difficult scenarios to think about and one the Colts front office, and Colts fans will be scratching their heads on.
